"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Maddy's Diner in Middletown was outstanding! Everything about our visit was excellent. The food was fresh, delicious, and served hot. The portions were generous, and every bite was enjoyable. The service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. It's refreshing to find a place where everything comes together so well—great food, great service, and a great dining experience. "I recently visited Maddy’s Diner and had a decent experience overall. The parking situation is a bit of a hassle, which made it a bit difficult to get in. The customer service was alright, but it could definitely be improved. It feels like the staff has been there forever, and unfortunately, they seem to be more welcoming to regulars or people they know rather than newcomers. As for the food, the chicken and waffles were a bit underwhelming. It tasted more like a frozen chicken tender with a dusting of powdered sugar, which was a bit of a letdown. On the other hand, the steak and home fries were decent, though we did need to add a bit of salt and pepper to bring out the flavor. I was hoping for the home fries to be more on the crispy side, but they ended up a little soggy instead. If you're looking for a casual meal this is your spot. Overall there’s definitely room for improvement in both service and food quality."

"The food was good service was good. Really good grits with cheese, it was top tier. This diner is a home to the locals. Being from New York City, I know good grits. The staff was warm and welcoming. One thing I appreciate is quality service. I wish I could speak to the food but I eat the same thing all the time."
